The International Boatmen's Linesmen's Association (IBLA) is a "non-profit" association established in Ravenna on 22 September 2012 with headquarters in Rome in Via Salaria n.89.
Currently registered as Associate Members are the mooring entities of: Italy, France, Spain, England, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Greece, Malta, Croatia, Montenegro, Morocco, Tunisia, United States of America, Argentina, Uruguay and Panama.
Negotiations are underway to annex Portuguese entities, the island of Reunion, Senegal and the Ivory Coast.
The main purpose of the Association is to want to get to know each other in order to engage in a mutual exchange of information and experiences.
We believe that only by knowing can we evolve and, with an enriched background, we can offer users and port entities a professional and efficient service in step with maritime evolution capable of guaranteeing, to the extent possible, maximum safety. for people whether they provide and/or benefit from the operations carried out in the ports and harbors of all seas.
The staff registered with the IBLA member companies possess the professional requirements required by the Guidelines issued by the IMO FAL Committee in 2016 on the professional training of people involved in mooring ships.
